TEACHER BY DAY, RAPPER BY NIGHT

Bio

I was born on May 27th 1987 in Miami, Florida. I guess you can say Hip Hop has been in my blood since birth. I remember getting ready to go to school in the morning to the sound of Bone Thugs “crossroads” as I ate my toast. I remember buying my first Hip Hop CD by Juvenile called “400 Degreez”, his song “Ha” captivated me.

When I reached High School I started to truly appreciate a legend that had been out for years who I previously paid no mind to. Legal name “Nasir Jones” artist name “Nas”, Mr. Escobar season has returned. At the same time I began writing lyrics myself and as the years went by you see the evolution of my writing take a different turn.

I realized later in life that I didn’t want to just put words together as a rapper but also as a teacher. Now I’m doing the two things in this life that I was called to do, I’m a Teacher by day and Rapper by night"

The Moody Bible Institute graduate released his first mixtape, Finally, in 2014, receiving critical acclaim that led to him being included in Rapzilla’s 15 Freshman of 2015 and winning the leading Christian hip hop site’s 16 Bar Challenge. He dropped his sophomore set, Molly Pitcher, in 2016. When he is not rapping or teaching junior high school students at Northwest Christian Academy in Opa-locka in Miami-Dade County, he ministers at his church, The Brook Miami.
